After Eden aims to explore the role and significance of the divine feminine in society through a collection of artworks examining the many expressions of femininity and womxnhood, focusing on the period when societies were structured around Goddess religions.

The show exhibits a wide range of artists and mediums that depict the divine feminine in various forms, including the Great Mother Goddess and Mother Earth. The artworks are sourced from the different perspectives of race, religion and sexual identity to provide a diverse representation of the divine feminine in different cultures.

The work on view addresses the concept of Translation. The accompanying booklet was published in collaboration with participating artists, comprised of interviews and drawings made by Molly Davy during the week of install. Both the renderings and the dialogues function as translation device — offering perspective to the show and informing the relationships between image & concept, curator & artist.
